The Village of Stratton would like to announce that we have been awarded a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) grant up to the amount of $385,000 to be used for the construction of a new library. The estimated construction start date is set for September of 2019 and completion date estimated to be April of 2020. However, Village workers have begun the demolition and preparation of the land already. We ask that you take caution and be patient with us as we continue with the project throughout the next year. Caution tape and signs have been posted and we ask that you insure that you, children and pets remain a safe distance from the area and equipment to prevent any accidental injuries. We are very excited for our community to have this opportunity and look forward to all the happenings that will be available with the new facility!
