Launch the media gallery 1 player - media #2Clean up days are happening in Stratton in April. Yard Waste day will be on April 12th and Spring Clean up days will be on April 26th and 27th. Gather all unwanted items from your house and clean out bushes and fallen branches from your yard. We are working to help make Stratton look as beautiful to outsiders as we feel it is!
You will need to add your name to the pick up list for yard waste day by calling or stopping into the Village Office prior to the 12th. Then gather and place the waste by the dumpster and we will load it up for you. Please only one truckload per residence to insure time to gather all other residences in town. And no grass clippings or other trash, such as plastic bags.
If you didn't get your name on the list or have more than one truckload, don't worry. On the 26th and 27th we will have the tree dump open for you to take out any other tree or garden waste or grass clippings. And as always you can pick up a key to the tree dump at any time with a $20 deposit.
The 26th and 27th we will also have a roll off container in the lot south of the elementary school. Bring any item that you can't fit in the dumpster. Please no tires, metal, liquids, toxic or corrosive items- We don't want these items going to the landfill. If you need help with heavy items call Kevin to make arrangements. And again, please only one pickup load per residence. We anticipate filling the entire dumpster and want to ensure everyone is able to have a chance to bring their items. We will accept items until noon on Saturday or until the container if full.
