Stratton residents showed how much a small town can come together and help each other in the face of devastation. People pitched in with donations, brought food and water or came to lend a hand or equipment to clean up the homes of those who lost most of their possessions. The Village Board of Trustees would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped with the cleaning of the residences on Railway Street after the flooding at the end of May. This was a great start for those who are now trying to finish the clean up and put their lives back together and rebuild.
As a reminder, donations are still being accepted at Stratton Country Market and MNB Bank.
