MANY HANDS MAKE LIGHT WORK

June 23, 2023

Also thank you to those who brought their trailers, dump trucks, and other equipment to assist with the removal of debris. Stratton residents showed how much a small town can come together and help each other in the face of devastation. People pitched in with donations, brought food and water or came to lend a hand or equipment to clean up the homes of those who lost most of their possessions. The Village Board of Trustees would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who helped with the cleaning of the residences on Railway Street after the flooding at the end of May. This was a great start for those who are now trying to finish the clean up and put their lives back together and rebuild.

As a reminder, donations are still being accepted at Stratton Country Market and MNB Bank.
