NEW BUSINESS

Brandon Myers Emergency Management Director joined via zoon along with members from the Village of Palisade. Myers explained emergency procedures and answered questions from both Palisade and Stratton. It was noted that after 72 hours emergency spending ended and would need to go back to non-emergency procedures to purchase or repair damaged infrastructure. Myers informed the boards that volunteer, and equipment logs would be needed with specifics in order to submit to FEMA/NEMA as well as before and after pictures.

It was mentioned that that FEMA/NEMA is not much help with residential property and individuals should check with their own insurance and/or Red Cross and other entities for assistance.

Other clean up procedures and plans were discussed. Kyle Clapp stated that estimates on damaged roads should be submitted as soon as possible or within 30 days. And clean up volunteer hours and equipment hours should be submitted weekly. It was mentioned that donations for individuals who had damage related to the flooding would be collected and several options for assistance were discussed. Businesses will be contacted to inquire about spraying for mosquitos and disposal of appliances with Freon. Clean up will begin on Wednesday or once ground has dried out enough to get equipment on.

Motion by Sutton and seconded by Hanes to adjourn the meeting. Roll call: Ayes: Sutton, Bohochik, Griffiths, Hanes. Nays: None. Motion carried and meeting adjourned at 4:06pm.
