Stratton Days 2025

September 04, 2025

Schedule of events for the 2025 Stratton Days Celebration. Come out and join us all day or just stop by for an event or two! Follow Stratton, Nebraska on Facebook for more details on each event.

Start the weekend out testing your baking skills with the pie contest. Pie entries are due on Friday by 5pm at the Village Office then head over to Benkelman to watch the Dundy County Stratton High School Homecoming Football Game and crowing of Homecoming royalty. Saturday starts at the park with the fun run, pickleball tournament, and vendors and games at the park as well as a free car show at the Fire Hall. Don't miss a new event, walking tour of Rosehill Cemetery where you can learn some about early settlers of Stratton. The mud bog is back for the 19th annual Dan Boon memorial mud bog. The always popular Bingo at Grandview will serve pies and announce the winner from the pie contest. Then head to Bailey Street for music and the Safari Spectacular Parade to see who our Grand Marshals are this year! Have the kids stick around following the parade to compete in a bow shooting competition at Johnny Whiskers. Hopefully, you haven't filled up too much on the breakfast burritos at the car show or lunch at the mud bog provided by the fire department or hot dogs at the park from the Ambulance crew because you don't want to miss the Rec Club BBQ! Along with the free BBQ you can purchase a root beer float or get your final chance in the Rec Club Raffle for Husker Volleyball or Football tickets or a cooler of hamburger. The Little House Museum volunteers will also be around for tickets to their quilt raffle. Head back up the street to see some local talent as Beth Kollmorgen is again heading up the talent show. Then enjoy the DJ and street dance until midnight provided by the Rec Club. If you haven't worn yourself out, Sunday morning will be a community church service at the park with a potluck lunch to follow.

We are so excited to see you all as we celebrate our community together!
